I’ve found I much prefer track folks to cruise/car show folks. You still have ego and shitheads, just like any other gearhead gathering, but there seems to be a little more of an “all in this together” vibe, even though there’s competition involved.

I won’t make a generalization of Vette owners in general, but in my area, I see the Corvette guys do this all the time.

I am by no means an expert on this subject, and I’m not saying anything one way or another, but I will say we had a particularly mild winter in the KC area.
