Turbo lag is awesome. Lag = mpg. If you can stay out of the boost, you use less of the fuels. And if you have big lag, and do get through it, you usually arrive at the “hold on to your butts” phase, which is also good. Hold butts + mpg = good.

If you are the only ship that didn’t get its electro bits knocked out, then you could become the big kid on the block.
