Shop nationally. The internets will be your friend. Spend a morning emailing every dealer you can find, copy and paste the exact email to all of them. Have a cup of tea and wait.

I’m strangely on board with this, even at that price. The wife wants a minivan to haul the kids, but I still have a soul, so this seems like a good compromise. NP

I think the Z06 owners are just upset because they didn’t know that they would be dealing with “limp mode” problems with their phallic enhancers as well.

Maybe its just me but... Wouldn’t a track day be more enjoyable with a bit less power? I feel like a Grand Sport would be just as fast around a track and much more manageable.

eBay with 6 days left means nothing. Now if it were $5400 with 6 minutes left, you would have a market point.

Nissan? Really?

The guy in the Mercury Mariner behind them went to trade it in immediately after

An engineer recently told me that these are created by changing the fuel maps so the system squirts a little fuel into the cylinder under certain circumstances when off throttle. The fuel combusts in the exhaust, and you get the snap/crackle/pop sound (and the subsequent ‘Yeah, bro!’ reaction at the end of this video.

Not a fan of snap-crackle-pop exhausts (yeah, yeah, I know).

i mean, 15k is slightly used Fiesta ST money. just saying

There’s probably a very narrow band of age of people young enough to remember this car as the badass poster on their wall, but not old enough to actually remember Chrylser Dodge of the early to mid aughts.

You need a 500, you don’t need anything else.

Crappy interior, prone to rust...they just weren’t well-made cars in general. Sure, the mechanicals were sound, but everything about the C4 just screams “I’M ABOUT TO FALL APART!!!”

Eh; these things were pretty janky, and also the absolutely ugliest ‘Vette ever made. It would make for a good donor for a hot-rod of some sort, but I’d want it for at least a couple thousand cheaper.

You see Raptors out in the desert in SoCal all the time. I think people use them a lot more than they are given credit for. How often do you go off roading? Of course you see them on the freeway all the time is that’s the only place you drive.

(And this is coming from a Chevy fan)

We don’t need any performance cars, either. How many are actually driven on a track?

Um, try another dealership? Seems like a pretty easy thing to do. The Ford dealerships in my area (north Va) are all money grubbing greedy assholes. The only one that had the vehicle I wanted to order was putting a 15k dealership markup on it. I had to call around, found a dealer in Pa, 2 hours away or so, who would

What did the other dealers say?

Nothing to do with getting off of anything, horses or otherwise. It was an incredibly stupid move on FCA’s part, tone deaf, and inexcusable. Absent the shilling for POS Ram trucks, you are right, it is a great piece, but that’s not why the douche bags at FCA dropped a massive pile of coin on a super bowl commercial.
