For a lot of people needing a family hauler but still wanting to have a reliable machine, both fall out, even the FoST depending who you ask. Had a Forester and while good, it was cramped, cheap interior, and engines prone to eat gaskets which is not cheap. That still sticks. Mustang would work but not everyone wants

What if I want a hot hatch? WRX is out.

Elon, go home!

I’m here to call this comment stupid.

considering you can run an internal combustion engine off of hydrogen I see your post as incorrect (its something like 5 times more powerful than standard gasoline). The only issue with hydrogen is storing it.

That’s pretty clever, if they took half the engineers from this project and put them on the 200 maybe it wouldn’t be such a pile of shit.

Vet or not, I don’t care. If he wants a 2.5t truck, fine. Park it someplace else and not in front of a house or in a yard. Park it someplace where it’s allowed. If that means he has to pay, so be it.

People will be soft on this because it’s a vet, and we all want to support our vets. If it was out in the country, it wouldn’t be a problem.

The Ford cars you have in Europe are absolutely your typical American car: Fiesta, Focus, and Fusion/Mondeo are built and sell in great volumes on both continents. In fact, the US got the current Fusion/Mondeo first. Where the vehicles are designed, Ford is a global company. Do you honestly think the European

Ford - American company that sells LOTS of cars in Europe. Owned Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, and Aston Martin, saving them all from oblivion and investing in all to their continued benefit post-sale today.

This is kinda ridiculous. I bet the owners will loose. I mean aside from the myriad of technical loopholes Ford could throw at this to win legally, this is most certainly not an issue unique to Ford. It’s an issue unique to modern cars with computers. I’ve seen it on Vette’s, Camaro’s, 911s, VWs all kinds of

Um, WITAF?

I think the RX-8 is miles better, reliability aside. That rotary is so eager to rev, while the boxer feels and sounds labored. The FRZ86 feels like an economy car, while the RX-8 feels more refined.

No boost no want

I don’t follow that logic, and to be honest, I’ve never seen a dip like this before. I am open to seeing some graphs though. All the cars I’ve owned recently don’t have it, in fact they all have a common theme of being REALLY strong on midrange torque. Midrange torque = daily driving power. I guess its a fine

Fake news! I’ve been getting speeding tickets in manual-transmission cars for years now. YEARS.

I love all the things about this car, save this one thing. You feel every bit of that dip and its a huge letdown. I hear its curable with new headers, but it shouldn’t be there to begin with.

So $27k to have a car that’s somewhat fun and a bad daily driver. Boy count me in.

There isn’t a single car out there on the road that produces the same amount of giggles per dollar and is still relatively practical as a daily runabout.

But the whole package is good enough that I really can’t see a reason not to get an 86 if most of your travel is with one other person max, or you have the space and funds for a fun-car.
