We have had two dusky conures and I can confirm that they are incredibly curious, and explorative with their beaks. They are also entertained by the most random things if they can be shredded. We’ve bought them some elaborate foraging toys only to be completely overshadowed by a roll of paper towels haha.

No way, glad I’m not the only conure parront on jalopnik! Our dusky Tai can be 100 grams of terror at times haha. He is certainly smart and we have been able to teach him a few things over the years, but if he wants to go crazy... Well he certainly will 😅.
