Hey, if design-wise we are going back to the era where this was the BMW line-up (you could buy all the cars below in the year 2000, though the 8 series was on the way out), and somehow BMW got convinced it was boring and needed Bangle to shake it up, please just let them do their thing! Loved the “boring” design BMW

Almost all the “partial laws” mean people under 18 or 21 have to wear helmets and there are no requirements for anyone else. The enactment of universal helmet-wearing laws and their repeal has been a bit of a political roller coaster, summarized here:

Helmets? Where we are going, we don’t need helmets!

Good catch! They used to be called Fiat Ritmo where I’m from and they were delightfully futuristically quirky (the steel wheel design was brilliant) until the Tipo came along (the version with the digital dashboard was also delightfully quirky).

Yep, this is absolutely right. According to Lucas’s quotes from the link below, for episodes VII, VIII, and IX, he planned a space (soap) opera with Anakin’s grandchildren and some more digging into the biology of the force mixed with components from the EU lore.

Yeah, but not stainless steel, though :)

Why even bother?

They should scrap it and use the tooling to produce an EV DeLorean. they know how to do “gullwing” doors from the Model X, and since the Tesla Roadster is also not forthcoming, they would kill two birds with one stone.

The First Order seemed to have all the funding it needed... Guess they took over the Walmart equivalent of the Unknown Regions...

I was watching the scene of Sabine trying to force-move the mug with baited breath, ready to turn everything off if the mug had done anything but keep perfectly and solemnly still.

Yeah, I understand Sabine’s life story, from the guilt of inventing the weapon that the Empire used to vaporize beskar-clad Mandalorians to being cast out by her clan. I’m just not impressed with the way the first episodes of Ahsoka completely reversed all the growth of her character throughout “Rebels”, and it also di

I’m mostly fine with the retcons. Was not as thrilled with the world-weary dry Ahsoka with no emotions besides the occasional smugly-annoyed smirk... She was far more lively in Rebels than that, though I recognize a cartoon to live action conversion is always tough, and visually they did a great job.

No idea, probably advertisement reinforcement, pamphlet distribution, cleaning and collection of eyes gouged out...

I caught this one in Tokyo many years ago. I truly hope it was a wrap, but I'm pretty sure the wheels weren't... 😱

In Europe, they used the same approach for Ferrero Rocher in 1993 or thereabouts. All I can say is that most of the jokes about this ad I heard while in high school are fairly unrepeatable...

Regarding:

I can’t wait to see Chopper in live action!

I’d like to salute the idiot, erm... enlightened individual that paid $30 million for this menstruation-decorated monstrosity. By the way, I have a really nice tower for sale in Paris, bit flashy in the evenings, but that should be right up your alley. Hit me up if interested!

Mississippi is the poorest state in the union. Good to see their police resources are being put to the essential use of terrorizing Black children and making them aware of the treatment they can expect for the rest of their lives. The GOP extremists must be really proud...
