There are several sources quoting Lincoln speeches during 1856-58 pointing out that while he abhorred slavery, it did not imply he was a proponent of racial equality (note that those same views were prevalent over most white abolitionists of the time, and several free states did not afford suffrage to Black or

Yep, Lincoln never owned slaves at any point in his life.

Yeah, GM got a lot of mileage and profit from the theta platform, which debuted with the Saturn Vue. Nothing Saab about the 9-4X except the defunct griffin badge...

Wow, out of 5 suggestions, only 1 was actually built in Europe... Great advice, fam...

And thus we finally understand why Bill was such a malevolent character...

Is it still a sandwich if the newly-sliced meat is placed between two pieces of anything-but-bread?

Brilliant! LOL

Same. Kept mine for almost 9 years, also daily-driven. Could easily do less than 300 miles to the (quite large) tank with spirited driving, or as much as 446 miles (a one-time very boring self-challenge during a long trip, just to prove to myself it could be done). That’s still only about 26 mpg...

I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt that the QX50 the OP tried may not have had a USB port, but if it did you’re absolutely right that compression would not be an issue. My 2006 G35 did not have AUX, USB, or Bluetooth, but the Nissan iPod interface fixed all that without having to change the nicely integrated Bose

Yeah, that’s probably the same adapter I installed. It was a bit of a pain to install the extra wiring harness connected to the main unit in the trunk (and hide it all under the trunk, backseats and backseat carpet), but it was a 1-2h job you only did once and worked great for the 9 years I had the car. First thought that came to mind when reading this was one of Nissans going around hitting poles with gay abandon, more or less like in this video.

A fine vehicle until something or anything goes wrong with it. Finding replacement parts for it will be as challenging as finding another one of these in the US...

We are all constantly distracted by our phones all the time, so general incompetence is no longer as frowned upon as before, despite being a huge waste of time and money every time it rears its ugly head.

Totally horrifying stuff.

RIP Annie... Very versatile and immediately recognizable actress. She also played a highly-intelligent very evil villain Rosalind Dyer on The Rookie. Was a bit surprised they killed her off early in the current season, but it was probably at her request as her health deteriorated.

Well, the real reason is that this Lancia Y is just the second restyling (from 2021, the first one was 2015) of the third generation version launched in 2011, which was designed around 2007 by the now very “bereft-of-life” Lancia Style Center, before Fiat and Chrysler started their “joint ventures”. So, this is a 12

Any endurance racer before ~2000: WTF are they on about?...

Taking into account this is from 4 years ago, I guess Nico must be salivating to get his...

Fixed the title for ya...
