I don't deny that you can do a lot with the ribbon UI. I can clearly see it has a button for every conceivable thing you could ever possibly want to do and several buttons for things you would never want to do (What does the "Easy access" button do, for example?)

Why can't AT&T make their own investments in network infrastructure? Why can't they spend the money they were going to spend on T-Mobile on building new towers?

Which format is smaller depends on the image. For photographs jpg is the way to go but for interface elements, etc. PNG is usually smaller.
