I imagine the bulbs are there to be a super easy solution for people who don't want to figure out how to rewire a switch. I'm sure there will be @home compatible switches and other things as well.

It's more like 12 watts.

The actual studies have been mentioned on lifehacker several times. A google search will reveal them.

Now you will be able to use your light switches' extra CPU cycles for protein folding!

I don't think this is enforced. From what I understand a bunch of manufacturers and carriers voluntarily committed to it. But as another commenter said, you can't advertise your phone as Android compliant if you don't meet the requirements.

For some reason I really want to buy a new watch right now.

Good, I will finally know my PSN password!

"Because you'll pay for it" isn't enough to justify the policy. For a person to be willing to pay for something they need to get something in return. Tethering is just another case of the emperor's new clothes. You are paying buy you are getting nothing in return.

Nice try, Griffin marketing.

Simply introduce more pirates into the environment. Problem solved.

Just yesterday I came up with a new way to butter toast and thought to myself "I should put this on Lifehacker!" Basically you get the butter on your knife with lots of short, weak strokes rather than one big one - so the butter builds up on the end of the knife. Then mash it all back down into the rest of the butter

Also know as: how to get sued by two different companies at the same time! Now if only they were producing it on 3D printers using hacked Sony consoles...

My breakfast isn't going to wash itself down.

Go download photorec, then ask to borrow your buddy's SD card. You'll be surprised what you find that he *thought* he deleted.
