Why would anyone care that he wasn't brought in alive? I understand that its preferable for the guys to be captured alive, but surely no one is going to complain if, in exchanging gunfire with armed suspects, the cops have good enough aim to kill one of them, right? A coverup would only make sense if the suspects…
