Yes! This is something that I’ve learned over the past couple of years as I’ve been a part of a small group of women trying to experience every women’s summer Olympic event. There are some that have come fairly easily for me. There are others...not so much. Gymnastics for example. We did 8 weeks of classes. About the

Yes, Atlanta’s was open air. Had a roof and, I believe, heavy fabric/tarping on at least one end/short side. But at least one side was fully open.
The building has since been enclosed, a water slide and lazy river added and Georgia Tech has an awesome aquatic center.

I did pretty much what you’re thinking about...although I ended up paying it off in about 12 years mostly because it wasn’t worth refinancing at that point and I was able to swing paying it off. There are some great reasons for doing a 15 year rather than a 30. But if it will help you sleep better at night to have the

If you don’t mind doing a little work (and using Bing) you can easily earn enough Bing Rewards points to get a free month of Hulu (lowest tier with the ads) in less than a month. I’ve been doing this for a few years and it works really well. Takes me less than 10 minutes each day to do the searches to get the points

Many kettlebell exercises can be done with dumbells and vice-versa. It’s just a matter of changing the hand position (no one says you have to hold the dumbell or kettlebell by the handle part). You do need to be a big careful, particularly if you have smaller hands, as the weight might be harder to grasp/more likely

The squats aren’t really a problem, as you are supposed to only go down far enough to touch your bottom to the chair, not actually rest any weight on it (and they can easily be done without the chair). The leg extensions and chair body lifts (aren’t those just dips?) are where it could be easy to get into trouble with

After surviving the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Copywrited Games as a Georgia Tech Student (Tech’s campus was the athlete’s village) and all the mess that went along with that, none of this surprises me at all.The IOC and USOC are crazy protective of their Copywrited words and symbols.

Rest period? Exerciser’s choice?

I have a similar issue but for different reasons. I’m one of those crazy morning people. Ninety percent of the time I wake up a few minutes before my (5am) alarm and am ready to start the day with no issues. I prefer to spend the mornings, when I’m more awake and alert doing more thought intensive work. Then, I can

Yes! I know a number of families who homeschool, coach a middle school robotics team made up exclusively of homeschoolers and hang out with some adults who were homeschooled for at least a majority of their pre-college education. Almost all of these kids are incredibly smart, well rounded, well spoken, no more

Yes, definitely, religious communities are another great way to meet people. I have met most of my best friends through churches I’ve been/am involved with. I also like that it allows me an opportunity to get to know people of all ages, life stages and backgrounds including many people I would struggle to get to know

Yes. I also make sure to talk to my family and friends who are coming to visit about what they like to eat for at least breakfast and lunch (possibly also dinner if I think we’ll be eating in one or more nights). That way I can have food that they like and can eat ready to go and don’t have to worry about running to

Yeah. I have a weakness for the little plastic blocks too. The thing is, I could probably build 80% of the new sets I want out of the pieces I already have (minus the mini-figs and possibly in a slightly different color palette). But that does not stop me from buying new sets. My latest weakness is the Technic stuff.

I once had an ice cream sandwich made with an unglazed donut rather than the cookies. It was amazing.

Kinda similar to a mobility drill we do regularly in my bootcamp class at the gym.
Start standing with legs shoulder width apart. Bend at waist, put hands on ground and walk out to high plank (push-up “up” position). Do a push-up. On the up, push back keeping your butt down and bending your knees. Come back forward

My suggestions:
1. Add vanilla - The original Rice Krispie Treat recipe from the box included 1 teaspoon of vanilla to be added to the marshmallows after you take them off the heat but before stirring in the cereal. Once prepackaged Rice Krispie Treats became a thing you could buy, vanilla disappeared from the recipe

When I went through this type of experience, I realized that there were two major factors.

Pre-9/11 was much different. People without tickets could get through security and go to the gate. You didn’t need an ID to go through security. You didn’t have to take your shoes or jacket off. There were no restrictions on liquids of any kind (I carried a 12 pack of soda multiple times). You could carry small pocket

Yep. I use medium size stuff sacks for undies and socks that don’t end up inside of shoes. Books and papers get put in ziplock bags so they don’t get mussed up and creased when I jam them in my pack or duffle.

Interesting that this report seems to be dealing with flights which arrive on-time. Obviously on-time arrivals and departures are linked. But I would think that on-time departures are more a function of the specific airport than are on-time arrivals. Just doesn’t seem to be much an airport can do to make and airplane
