You got the reports wrong on John's Smallville episodes. They are highly regarded.

The one from "dccomicsmovie" is quoting a VP at Fandango who made the 30% remark. So bias doesn't even come into play. But, please, continue to try to spin this away.

The attack was was too predictable. Did anyone *not* see that coming? And JJ showing up in the nick of time was massively convenient. This show has its creaky moments, but scenes like these are groanworthy.

I don't know if it was the writing or the acting but Ritter doesn't come off very convincingly at times.
