Senior year in high school I wanted a nice car for prom. I went down to Selinsgrove Ford, where my family had gotten cars and service since I was little. I spoke to the owner Todd and told him I wanted a car for Prom, knew it was a long shot, but could I rent a car from him for Prom night.

A good friend of mine’s mother had a 2002 Windstar while I was in middle and high school. We’ll call the friend “V”. We actually did call V’s mother “Bob” because someone once said “Mom” with a head cold, and it came out as “Bob”. And the name stuck. Anyway, Bob and her husband—V’s father—bought the 2002 Windstar new

Fun Windstar fact. In 1996 the 3.8L got new heads and intake manifold and was good for 200hp and 230lb-ft of tq, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated iteration of the 3.8L Essex V6. Is there any other kind?

If this is satire of the poor framing of the video, have my star.

what if it’s a C3PO ?

That makes no sense. The “unprotected” air dam would be subject to whatever the rest of the car is subjected to, whereas here you’re basically taking dust and grime, salt and sand and rubbing the lower fascia over and over in close contact with the protectors. It’s completely different.

Millions of people add a big ugly bumpers to their fancy pretty designed phones to protect them and no one bats an eye lid.

Yes, actually. The top cars in EMod have more money, development and expertise put into them than my car. I paid a grand total of $1500 for the Aero guy and the Suspension guy because I would never get enough testing time on my own to figure out thing out. The guy who wins every year has $100,000 into his car and is
