I don't know if I missed it, because people keep saying ARG as if it means anything to me. What's ARG? I remember a lot of stuff leading up to the game, but I don't recall any of it having to do with Defense Grid.

If it's awesome, I don't care if I have to play it on a toaster.

The what? What's ARG?

Wait... this is real?

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good. I may give it a shot when the price comes down or GOTY is released. But I've been burned by them before, and I've become pretty gun shy.

Meh. Wooden characters with no personality, corpse-like animation, and embarrassing voice acting (except for Liam Neeson, who all but vanishes once the game really starts). Stupid repetitive subplot quests that were too laughable for the subject matter (Convincing women to vote in the Republic of Dave? Fetching

The website will be fixed in a different patch.

It would be sweet if Bethesda got more careful with initial releases instead.

That's why I only buy homemade XBoxes from the Mennonites at my local market.

There's always going to be that caveat. Mega Man 3 looks great "for a NES game." It doesn't mean the game doesn't look good. Hell, we've got downloadable games deliberately trying to look "old." I'm playing on a 50-inch screen, at maybe six feet, and it looks like you expect it will. As in, it looks like it

The music is definitely a step down, although I'll be honest, I can only tell if I compare them side-by-side. The new translation is great, as is the extra content, and I just like to be able to play those games in portable format. I'm not a big fan of the RPG grind, but when it's just a half-hour or so before

Huh? That's my favorite version of the game.

Excellent article. Thanks for putting this up as a full editorial.

This is exactly why Nintendo decided to put that second stick on a completely separate piece of hardware.

That's interesting to hear — I may have to check it out. I liked Lego Star Wars when it first came out, but things got repetitive after that. I'd be happy to see the series evolve a bit.

They're all the same game, pretty much. Maybe Potter is an exception, but Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman were all the exact same game with different skins. I'm assuming this is not an exception.
