The thing that bugs me about that is…it's really not that big of a shift. They already were rich. They may have been broke, sort of, but they still lived in a giant freakin compound and flew around in a supersonic jet. Make them poor, and that'd be something.

Most every song on that album is heartbreaking given the context. Especially "New Life."

I'm kinda rankling at history's insistence that Blind Melon were a one hit wonder. They certainly were, at least in terms of #1's. But they should be way better known outside of that one song.

Probably the coolest, most laid-back thing ever recorded. Apparently David Essex is a known entity in the UK, something like the British Neil Diamond. I think we lucked out, only knowing this track.
