I paraglided myself right into a nest of monster and was killed immediately. Nice welcome party!

Played it on the Wii U last night for hours, and I have nothing to complain about.
I had the same experience last night. Thought it was maybe 11:00 pm when I decided I should stop for the night. It was 1:30 am.
Ugh, fine! I'll start the game tonight. I'll set aside FFXV for now. I can't help it. This game just looks too fun! I weep for the day, months from now, when I restart my journey with Noctis, and have to relearn everything. But alas, that's life!
My mom actually pre-ordered my Wii U copy as my birthday present, so I'll have it staring at me, wanting to me played. And yes, I'm adult whose mom is still giving her video games for presents.
I always liked the Temple of the Ancients for some reason. The labyrinthian puzzle is certainly annoying, but I was really taken in by the music and the overall somber feel of the place when I first played it as a kid. I also have very vivid memories of staying up super late trying to kill the Red Dragon. It took me…
As I go into the weekend I ask myself the same question as always: will I have time to play FFXV? I have essays to grade, now and forever, but we'll see! I do have a snow day today (which I've so far spent on the AV Club catching up on articles I was too busy to read this week), so that might give me a fighting…
I'm really torn over whether or not to start this game when it comes out because I'm still very slowly making my way through FFXV. I'm a pretty slow gamer these days because of all of my dumb, real-life obligations, so it can take me months to finish a game. So if I wait until I finish FFXV everyone on here will…
All of that is amazing.
I left my PSP in a classroom once and, of course, someone stole it before I came back to get it. I don't think I've ever really recovered.
I'm getting emotional just thinking about it.
Did you notice the kid with the bleach-blonde rat tail in the episode with Blanche's grandson? I don't know why, but I laughed so hard when I saw that. Like, not only did he have a rat tail, but he bleached it so it would really stand out. Love that.
I think ABC realizes that this season is a flop so they're just getting a head start on the next season.
I thought I wasn't going to have any time to play video games this weekend, and technically I didn't (should have been grading papers), but when I woke up on Saturday all I wanted to do was play FFXV so I gave into my desire and played the whole day. It's been a long time since I've spent an entire day playing a game,…
A trick I use in class sometimes is to kind of mutter or cough through a word. Works every time! I'm a very serious academic.
Oh man, I pronounce most everything in Final Fantasy incorrectly, including the two names you mentioned. Voice acting is great in games, but now I know I've been saying gysahl greens wrong for most of my life.
Oh yeah, that's a real struggle for me. Especially fun when I'm teaching a book in class. Then I just have to decide on a pronunciation and stick to it.
Far too many to name, but these are the first five names that popped into my head: Rupert Birkin (Women in Love), Leopold Bloom (Ulysses), Cathy Earnshaw (Wuthering Heights), Clarissa Dalloway (Mrs. Dalloway), and Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket…manga counts, right?).
I'm pretty sure I'll never stop thinking about Hal.
There's no way I have the time to start playing another new game, but I'm intrigued by the idea of spending "a lot of time sipping tea with stone-faced samurai." If you could flirt with the samurai instead of the ninja girls I'd drop everything to play this game.
