I also loved the XIII series! When I was picking up my copy of XV the guy working at Gamestop felt like telling me that he heard this one was "way better than XIII, which everyone hated". And I was like uh, I liked those games, so… He seemed utterly shocked.

My heart goes out to you for not having a PS4. I too have been waiting for this game for 10 years, and I would be distraught if I couldn't get my hands on it. The AV Club should send you a PS4.

I wouldn't have minded a more J-Pop look, but I agree that in this game I'm glad to see that they are a bit more subdued. Seems to fit better. And the voice acting is really good.
