Wow, I can't believe this exists and I'm just now finding out about it. I'm going to have to look into these. Also, I'm really happy to live in a world in which"Wishbone-ized" is a totally acceptable way to describe something.

Thanks for sharing this awesome interview with us!
I'll be sad when that final episode airs. But I'll be comforted for years to come by watching those 9 seasons over and over again.
A coworker is throwing a party with a theme (disease), and I'm supposed to "come dressed as your favorite victim or vector from a literary work". So I'm thinking Cathy from Wuthering Heights, but it feels too obvious. "Brain fever" is a legit disease, right?
I dressed up as Louise two years ago, and I think it is still my favorite costume ever. Pretty sure it will make a reappearance in the future.
I've never played these games, but it sounds like I should because I absolutely love the "boring" parts of games.

This weekend I'll be reading 75 freshmen essays. Should be a swell time.
That was delightful.
The ReDead (I think that's what they're called) from Ocarina of Time still freak me out so bad that I just run past them in a terrified frenzy. Just thinking about them makes me uncomfortable.
I've been so busy with the semester starting that I'll be happy if I get to play a few hours of any game. Here's hoping!
Oh yeah, you're totally right! I can't believe I remember that so wrong. Well, either way, some kind of animal caused me a lot of grief.
Yeah, the last time I played the game I was technically better than I was when I first played as a child. But I still managed to get stuck down there for longer than I should have. Damn bird makes it look so easy!
I think you meant to say that you fall down a hole, meet an ostrich, and spend the next hour trying to wall jump out of there/wishing you were dead. But that might have just been me.
I was having the same thought as I read this. Cryptic rooms that don't necessarily move the game forward might be a better description. That being said, I'm totally into thinking about these cryptic rooms that don't seem to serve a larger purpose. While I'm always frustrated when I can't figure out why a room is…

Started my new job this week and so far everything is going wonderfully and all the people seem really nice. That rarely happens, so it's very exciting for me.
Yeah, sometimes I find myself hating her. But I also get it. And then I hate myself for being a total dingus to my mom when I was a teenager. So it's a circle of hate!
Man, I was just about to write a post about the Labyrinth! This was my favorite movie as a kid. I watched it over and over and over (to the horror and dismay of my very religious aunt). I still watch the movie at least once a year. I loved the fantasy setting, the adventure, and (obviously) David Bowie. But I never…
I loved the show when I was younger, but I too focused mostly on Rory. We were similar in age and treated school the same way so I identified with her story. Watching it now though I find Lorelei so much more interesting.
