Rory sees him and says "Tristan?"
My first read on Gypsy was that she was outing herself as well. Especially since Rose Abdoo has said on Gilmore Guys that she played all her Gypsy as being in love with Lorelei. I got the feeling that she was probably bi or straight and Lorelei was her girl crush though.
ASP was really cutting back on people like Lane in the original run. I wanted more Lane but I got the amount I expected.
Which was a less necessary cameo: fake Tristan or Digger?
Mr. Kim was definitely referenced in the original series. I want to say a "wait until your father gets home" type thing. I don't think he's referenced in any way in season 2 or later. Someone feel free to correct me.
It was Michael Ausiello.
Paris still being in love with (fake) Tristan is a bit ridiculous. I get the idea of having "What if?" or "Why didn't they want me?" reaction years later. It was much too broad even for wistful, wishy washy me but that's out of character for Paris.
I noticed a general improvement in her acting as it went too, but that doesn't make a ton of sense. I doubt the episodes were filmed chronologically since they had to figure in a bunch of cameos in a ton of people's weird schedules.
This is probably one of those issues where the extremely wealthy version of being broke is very different than the most people's idea of being broke.
Considering Rory's past and current ability to come up with and write stories (downloading music in the original series), that website could have been a spectacular failure.
I was fine with Paul in the first episode but only because I didn't know how things were going to go.
This is the best way to view it because so many things make a bit more sense that way.
Yeah, Lorelei at the post-funeral was pretty awful and maybe her low point. At the very least, she should have said, "I just can't talk right now. I'm too emotional." Lorelei's argument that she just made a mistake is really minimizing what she did.
It took me until halfway through the scene with Roy Choi to realize "Hey, I think this is a real person."
I've seen the series multiple times and I'm all about Emily who feels much more rounded on rewatches. I can't say her actions are always motivated by love. The first few seasons definitely are. There are a handful of times where she, in my opinion, says things that are actively designed to hurt Lorelei. She also…
A picture of that needs to be sent into space to welcome alien species.
The worst ending is, and will always be, The Last Laugh (Der Letzte Man).
There's no way I believe this came from someone previously within Warner Bros.
