Sounds exactly like my 89

I just love that late 80s/early 90s cars are finally becoming desirable. The market has decided I’m too poor to buy an old E30 that isn’t a rusting nightmare, but I did recently drive to New Jersey and pick up a 93 Mercedes 190E. It needs work, but it was $1,000, the interior was mint, no rust or dents and most of

I owned an ‘89 white non-turbo targa. I loved it. It has terrible over-heating issues that I later found out was common and not overly expensive to fix. I regret getting rid of it.

This. Yes. This very car. I would rather have one of these in the Turbo variant. These are so much cooler than the “ugh” circle jerk MK4 Supras.

I’m in love with every Supra in existence, prayers go out to those that have unfortunately been riced out.

I love that generation of Supras. Make mine maroon with a targa top and automatic!

Stop playing games with my heart.

It’s a pity this is belt drive, ‘cause you’ll never break a chain!

Says literally you and no-one else, ever.

Id be on board with this if it was not for the FWD 1988 Cutlass Supreme coming out but the Cutlass sticking around for 1 more year.

The B-Body was killed because GM needed the Arlington plant for production of the Tahoes and Suburbans that were just killing it at the time and were huge profit makers. It was the easiest plant that GM could retool for production.

True story! My grandparents were in town visiting in June 1987. Their 1979 Regal was on its last leg. On a sunday they spied a brand new 1987 Grand Prix on the lot of the local Pontiac-Buick dealer. On Monday they bought the car and drove it home. I have a vivid memory of my dad and I going back to the dealership

Dont forget the GN.

The Aztek

GM cut production because it rivaled the corvette for a cheaper price tag

Oh man your Fiero is great. I am very interested in reading more about the 3800 swap. I am hearing alot from people saying it’s actually what the Fiero needed at the end.

Only GM could make a car that looks so pretty from the outside and so dog ugly on the inside...

Yay, an ‘88 Fiero GT! Here is mine, with a 3800 S2 S/C swapped in. 352 whp!

You asked me what car you should buy Patrick. This is it. It’s weird, It’s fun.

one of the best looking Pontiacs ever!
