It’s hard to notice how bad the Countach is/was with all that cocaine in your system.

What an unfortunate high-five.
Sure they do, that’s why they always market them with big Union Jack flags on them!
My last three vehicles have been a Nissan Titan (built in the USA for a USA only market), a VW Jetta GLI (hecho en Mexico), and now a Toyota Tacoma (made in the USA, for North and South America).
What else is new?
I’ll take one in white please!
1995 to be exact. My ‘95 Monte Carlo LS was the first car I ever financed. It was also the last GM product I ever bought.
Let me rephrase, rather then getting it right, they were on their way to getting it right :)
Never.
Platform wise, it was pretty good, but they had been building it for years under the guise of the Lumina/Transport/Silhouette, so they had ironed it our mechanically.
Man were they ever good at that!
Fiero > Ferrari
That is how GM has always rolled. Just as a model is getting all the kinks ironed out, and customers think they may have finally gotten things right, they cancel it.
I’m sure the first year alone I’d need to shovel at least a few grand more into this beast, but at a $2,500 starting point that doesn’t seem unreasonable.
Pro’s and cons to each. Big thing with chemical paint removal is no specialized equipment is required, and no specialized facilities, just some work space and good ventilation. I used aircraft grade paint remover repainting my motorcycles (which is sooooo much easier) and as messy as it gets, it works incredibly well.
Well la-dee friggin da, you’re damn right it is!
Nice Price.
I swear this is one of my biggest pet peeves, and now I have a good article to send to people I know are guilty of it!
I always terrified of that, becasue I carry a knife all the time, and most of my knives are in the multi hundred dollar range. I’d lose my mind if I had to drop one of my Emerson’s in the trash at an airport!
