A pogo-stick, obviously.

They did, and it was pretty cool. My dad was very impressed on how much different each of the settings were at the time. It also would talk to you obnoxiously like all other cars in the late 80's and early 90's telling you the door was ajar and to fasten your seat belt.

To be fair, Apple doesn’t price gouge, other manufacturers subsidizes their products by selling your information and infringing on your privacy in order to lower your initial purchase.

That dealer can respectfully go fuck itself with a cactus.

My dad bought a first gen GT (the only Probe that mattered) new in ‘88. It was a fully loaded 89 Probe GT in champagne gold with red interior. It was a mean little bastard. With only about 150hp, it was much quicker than one would expect. It also had some of the worst torque steer that 80's and 90's front wheel drive

Yes, yes, and yes.

That crash made me cry :(

I had a Highlander as a loaner car when my Tacoma was in the shop, and loved everything about it. Had my kids sit in the third row and they had just as much room as they do in my wife’s Ford Freestyle’s third row.

Problem is, they are all “cheap” and it is impossible to tell the difference between a $400 mattress and a $4,000 mattress.

Wierd, I found the Casper to be a lot more firm than I expected, and that was after coming from a cheap but extra firm King Coil. I’ve had my Casper for about 4 years now, and have been pretty happy with it.

And I thank you for any mentions of Max Headroom. That sure brings me back.

Very true. Even econo-boxes have HP numbers and performance specs that obliterate many (most) of the classic American muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's.

Another MR2 of course?

I always liked to compare my trusty old Triumph Tiger to Smart cars.

Buy here, unable to pay here.

On an unrelated note, I really miss when I actually could identify a BMW and its engine by model number. I really have no idea anymore.

Volvo’s?

The rubber track pads (depending on the armored vehicle) can be anywhere from 6-18" wide and are flat smooth hard rubber. So, yeah, that could definitely contribute to some serious hydroplaning. The track pads are really only there to keep the metal tracks from completely destroying any hardball surface they drive

My dad got rid of his in less than two years. Nothing but mechanical issues from day one. Didn’t keep it long enough to rust.

In a long line of piece of shit vehicle produced by Ford (I am a fan of Ford, so I am not saying they all were), the Aerostar was one of the absolute shittiest.

They do when shit hits the fan :)
