a 3 wheeled outhouse?
Probably doesn’t help that I don’t think there are any Pokemon Go hotspots in the middle of the Brazos River, either
Contrarily, your comment sounds like an Apple user who’s jealous their Android using friends. 🤷♀️
2nd gear:
This situation is what happens when you put ALL of your eggs in one basket. Major corporations eagerly jumped at the chance to get into China, share their patents, team up with Chinese companies, make deals with CCP officials, shut down most of the manufacturing plants.... and now we are almost fully…
Came here to say the same thing. As an Australian who currently lives in the US, I think this is vastly understating how much nothing there is in most of Australia. I mean, we have the same land area as the contiguous 48 states but only have 25m people spread across that.
”Australia is a lot like the U.S. — a large country with major cities on the coasts and vast stretches of nothing in between.”

I see how solar might be more expensive, but I fail to see how this is a net zero operation. How does the oil get to the charge point for one.
It’s contrary to human perceptual neuroanatomy. Either a task is ‘on’ or it is ‘off’. It requires a much higher stimulus threshhold, to switch from a non-driving ‘on’ task, back to the driving ‘on’ task, when we recognize a threat, than it does to monitor the progress of that driving ‘on’ task in consciousness.
It seems like it would be more exhausting to have to “remain engaged and ready to drive!” versus just... driving.
On one hand, I 100% agree this is a great opportunity for a high schooler to learn and drive something cool. As a parent, however, I would never let a beginner daily-drive a car this unsafe.
The search spam at the bottom of the ad alone is a warning sign of desperation and/or slimy tactics. I mean, they put the word “wheel” in there. Looking for a wheel? How about a G35 instead?
This is what I came to say. Find a seller who’s not an idiot.
The overall tone of the ad, the wording makes me hesitate. On the face of it, seems like it should be a NP, but the seller comes across as a dickhead and $6200 is too much to put up with the hassle! So No Dice because I wouldn’t want to deal with this guy and his boy-racer modifications.
First: Tesla is not a luxury brand. Convince me I’m wrong. The model S can pass for luxury, but not the 3/Y where the bulk of sales sit. Sure they offer huge amounts of technology, but that’s not “luxury”, unless we’re collectively agree to redefine luxury as high tech
Similar has been done with a retired Boeing 727 by a man named Bruce Campbell (not that Bruce Campbell) and the end result is the stuff of dreams.
Your clutch doesn’t need an adjustment, you need a new throwout bearing (and you might as well put a clutch in it while you are in there). But it might go a long, long time like that, just don’t hold the pedal to the floor at lights - put it in neutral and let the clutch out to save as much wear and tear as possible.
“If you cut off my head, what would I say?
Me and my head or me and my body?”
Creature comforts: the automatic sliding doors and rear lift hatch on my minivan. If you know in your heart that a minivan is the answer but you’ve resisted because you only know the manual sliders of your youth, get thee to the dealership and try out a modern vehicle.
