Good for Vimeo. Not sure if this will make any difference, given that it's not a major studio, but they deserve a shout-out for acknowledging female voices.
I'm a big fan of their song "Edie" but this one is probably my favorite. Great write-up!

Hey Death, didn't you hear Mojo Nixon? It was supposed to be Don Henley. RIP, sir.
Yup, I studied Russian history and Communism; I meant irrelevant in the US.
When talking with a friend about what Bowie's instrument was, what he used to compose, I joked it was the saxophone. Brilliant showcase for his talents as a musician and his shrewdness in selecting other musicians and the right producer.
Yeah, I agree, but it was still a major point in the Cold War. It depresses me to think that a lot of 20th century history is perceived as irrelevant because the Cold War ended anticlimactically for the US.

That movie is bananas. My secret wish is that they do that on How Did This Get Made. I think June, especially, would have some opinions about it.
Underground was the 4th or 5th song I played this morning. "Nothing ever hurts again."
Finally, internet, something I can get behind.
I was a huge Nick Cave fan, but I never got around to reading Bunny Munro. Not sure why, but I haven't cared much for his music since Blixa and Mick Harvey left. I think his art has evolved to a place I have no interest in. And he sings more through his nose now.
It's a biblical reference. If I weren't such a heathen, I'd have an even greater appreciation for his writing.
