At least we had a fun game to watch. Matt joylessly rolling over the other two players is taking all the fun out of Jeopardy. It must be a real bummer for the players who achieve their dream to make it on, and then get totally shut out by someone who doesn't seem to enjoy any of it but domination.

Benched was a lot of fun.

Matt talks over Trebek, so he's not having as much fun with his asides. I'm pretty sure that's why he busted out that crazy Eleanor Roosevelt impression for Final.

I'm more of a moons of Saturn type. I guessed Ganymede, hoping it was some kind of red shirt character in Shakespeare.

He looks like a ventriloquist's dummy.

Anyone who doesn't know James Garner basics deserves to lose.

There's a really great fiction book that takes place on the day he made his walk. It's a backdrop for the interconnected stories, but the sense of wonder and community informs them. Totally not related to this movie or the documentary, but I can't pass up the opportunity to give it a shout out: Let the Great World

Her boyfriends, Manhattans, librarian conventions. Their life sounds like solid gold.

Her interesting fact is that she has a job and lives in a city? Fascinating.

Did Trebek come back from summer vacation disenchanted with his job? He was really skewering the contestants during the chit-chat, making them second-guess their life choices and what they are proud of. Only poor Dylan was spared, probably because he caught it the day before for choosing to answer a higher calling.

I saw Ride in concert in the 90s. I can't remember a thing about that show, except the band all looked at their shoes.

Her obvious posing was so distracting.

Nice! Thank you!

Oh my god, I have never heard of that. I just checked, and I don't get RFD-TV. Too bad, because I love classic country.

It's one of the best shows I've ever seen, if not the best. They opened with "Walk the Line" and the band came out playing, then Johnny Cash introduced everyone. His love for his band and for the audience was amazing.

I saw Johnny Cash on his last tour, and they did this song. He did the harmonica solo, and he was good-naturedly out of breath when he was done. He was a brilliant showman. Another highlight from that concert - he and June did "Jackson."

It might show up on Pivot. I think Fortitude was a Sky TV production, and that aired on Pivot, right?

We all knew the vets were disenfranchised, especially the ones who didn't come back and pick up where they left off. I love that a lot of 80s TV provided shading. As much as America wanted to forget, it was still up on the screen, and I was glad for that.

Yep, it's not talked about enough how the 80s were addressing how America was dealing with the Vietnam vets. It wasn't all sophisticated, but there were a lot of people in the entertainment industry who understood it to be as big of a social issue as it was. Sure, there were gritty heroes or anti-heroes, but there

She was a classy dame. Her sexy content didn't detract from that at all, and she was completely fascinating. We lost some vintage glamour. Thoughts with her family and friends. I'll also chime in "fuck cancer."
