Answering would constitute a spoiler for the novel. Nice going, Jeopardy.

The first couple of episodes weren't as good as the rest of the series, but it's definitely great. Daniel Levy is really compelling to watch, and once they brought other characters to the fore and backgrounded Chris Elliott's mayor, it really came together as an ensemble piece.
What an elegant gesture, Ted.

W(h)ales was so obnoxious. Let Trebek go nuts as arrogant intelligentsia, writers, no need to be jerks too.

The original stories are pretty great - highly recommended.

I kinda like that. It takes stones to bust out that jacket twice, then have the story about it prompt Trebek's inner Klink to come out.

It looked like the contestants were also thrown by how the clue was written. Their faces were priceless.

I thought for sure there would be some crazy Colonel Klink accent work, but alas, it was just quotes from Germans.

I agree, but I think Anglophilia is perceived as highbrow enough to make this Jeopardy-important.

He's unlocked the secret to Jeopardy wins - you just have to be $1 ahead of the other players.

I was actually wondering how it ended. How did the guy get the snake off - did he throw it back?

I believe he declined to be on last week because they won't have 2 contestants on the same game with the same name. That story was worth the wait. Also his creepy wink at as the show started and he was introduced.

I call him that as often as possible, to the annoyance of my husband. Come on, it's fun! (He was great in Fortitude.)

That's right. I forgot about him because he's a garden variety thug threat. Elizabeth is more than capable of handling him, but it might be inconvenient to the mission overall to overtly kill him. One of the reasons I love this show so much is the layers, and the thought that goes into each action.
They're dealing

Chekhov's obliviousness. Henry is alone in that house a lot, and he's forged a relationship with Stan. I wonder if he'll find a stash of wigs and mention it to Stan.

Poor Martha. Philip's other wife, a home-based relationship that demands a high level of emotional attention from him. I love that undercurrent. I'm guessing that she registered exactly what he is when he took off the wig, and knows she would go to prison for treason so she has no choice but to keep quiet. If she

Too bad they can't work out some kind of suitcase crossover.

I wondered if the itchy back was a tick, but that would be a poker tell, right? Plus, aren't fidgety weirdoes weeded out during the auditions. One of the great Jeopardy mysteries….

Generally, I agree, but some Jeopardy contestants miss on the interesting anecdote.

Michelle Monaghan's house is broken into by … wait for it … a psychotic Michael Keaton. It was pretty unwatchable, but they were both amazing in what I did see. Why he didn't get the Oscar is beyond me.

He always came across as disinterested to me. The flat affect made for terrible viewing. Seemed like he was only interested in raising his score, not so much the game itself.
