That’s fair. I was about 8. I enjoyed the movie and still enjoy it now.

If you looked at anything you liked as a child and re-watched it as an adult, it would be bad. Therefore, don’t hate on Space Jam. It was good then, your(or all of our) clouded adult mind can’t respect it.

I rewatched SpaceJam about 2 years ago with a friend and his GF (her first time seeing it, which must have been a total mindfuck.) It’s a hell of a lot weirder than it was when I was 6, but it’s still awesome.
