I'm a fan of the witch—they seem like foxy chicks to me for the most part. But here's my problem and it's similar to my problem with the sadomasochistic lifestyle—you really are encouraged to dress like an asshole. this is one of the movies starring John Leguizamo that is in my top five worst movies ever—the other is of course Super Mario Brothers.

that shit is so bananas.

goddamnit that's a good movie.

Scream would have been a perfect short if it ended with Drew Barrymore's death—but then I suppose you lose the whole "Psycho/Janet Leigh" thing where the "lead" gets killed a lot sooner than you think they will.
Halloween's opening is imo the greatest opening scene in cinema. and you know I mean it because I said

I watched one of those A&E Biography shows about Henry Lee Lucas and I came away thinking that a very good dark comedy could be made about him—how he basically took almost every police department in Texas for a ride confessing to murders he in no way could have done—just because he liked the food they were giving him

that's so stupid and so good. thank you for that.

New York Groove is a song I knew but didn't know I knew until about six months ago—and my life is all the better for that discovery.
I tend to listen to the Byrds "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" when you got an autumn breeze and temps are around 62. It and After the Gold Rush are two perfect fall albums.

I love him for the most part—but every time I see an "interesting" young chef on Chopped—I think Bourdain you must atone. With their goddamn knife tattoos!

I knew Big Road on Extra Width was about the NJ Turnpike—as it's stated in the song—but I didn't understand the listing of the names at the end—but oh man when I realized that those were the names of the rest stops on the NJ Turnpike—my mind was blown.
You ain't doing nothing wrong to yourself if you're listening to

Goddamn—Orange is so much fun.

also Tender—-when Graham comes in with that "ohhhh my baby"

The brutal honesty of Hospice too. Just yep that's how it is.

Holocaust off of Sister Lovers.

Oh shit—Intervention without a doubt. Thanks for the reminder.

Exit Music (for a film) starting with "youuuuu can laugh…" until the end. and John Wayne Gacy, Jr. and that's pretty much throughout the whole song.
also—with the clown hysteria going on now—can we start calling a group of clowns a "gacy"?
