I bought Steady Diet of Nothing entirely because of that book.

Parenthood was making the rounds on HBO a couple of months ago and I found myself watching it after it being many years since I last have—goddamn that's a delightful movie! And she's so good in it.
And when it came out I identified with Kevin and know I identify with Steve Martin—so life, ain't it a bitch

that was so good. "but…you;re Bruce Springsteen…"

That build up moment in Exit Music (For a Film) the "you can laugh…" part. wooooo..

Blur 13 is a pretty great break up album

I second the Get Off Your Feet moment in Parks and Rec—I think I can add the "little person" review from last night's Review to the list and Parker Posey saying "This is the day of the show, y'all" in Waiting for Guffman

Oh boy—the Internet outrage machine would have a good time with Welcome to the Terrordome.

I can approve this list!

I second the Buckley/Baldwin debates.

I wonder if John McCain will show up? They use to be close pals, but I don't think McCain has been on since 2008

it's really sad and beautiful.

I'm just Blue Turtling here..

"so I guess a circus has animals and a carnival has rides, but I know one thing they both have—songs"

It was too much to watch—I became so enamored of Stewart and Colbert.

and I started calling my girlfriend "toots"

so that was a running reference for me and my mom for 20 plus years—the Shecky Green story, the story about the Elvis movie Roustabout and the Gregg Allman bit. Goddamn all three of them would get a laugh from either one of us it was brought up. Seriously it might be my favorite thing in the history of Dave.

Bitch was the worst song of the 90's. Nookie was a better song than Bitch.

I love that Jesus and Mary Chain song.

But what's the best song? My vote—The Badge-Pantera.

I was a 15 year old angry teen when this movie came out—I saw three times at the movies—and boy I would be scared to watch it now because I doubt it's as kick ass as it was then.
