I can’t judge all Rogan listeners, obviously.

I keep feeling like the George Lucas school of filmmaking is, somewhat ironically, best summed up in a Clerks paraphrase:
“Man, my movie would be so great if it wasn’t for all the fucking actors!”
I can’t say that I have any interest in watching the Conners - but that Darlene (the “smart, talented” one) ends up working at the same shitty plastic factory her mom used to work at does strike me as a heartbreakingingly realistic depiction of life in a small shitty town. So good show to them on that one.
meh I think we can start holding people like Whedon accountable for being abusive on set, he fucked over Carpenter for simply being a woman and Fisher sounds like a victim of a racism even if it wasn’t direct. He has some rage on set that needs to be checked, otherwise make room for someone worth working with.
I, for one, look forward to scenes where everyone tells her how amazing she is, and also how they discuss that amongst themselves, because as everybody knows, the most effective way to get a character over is to tell rather than show.
Discovery season 4 is already looking like a shit show. They’ve saved the Federation from being destroyed by the Klingons. They’ve stopped all the dilithium in the galaxy from blowing up for a second time. They’ve saved all intelligent life in the universe. They’ve saved all life throughout the multiverse across all…
Time travel exists in the Star Trek universe. Therefore “at the same time” is a meaningless statement.
Who can blame you, the modern Star Trek shows start out with a bang and then quickly become forgettable. It’s like the opposite of the Riker’s Beard effect.
I think there must be something wrong with me, Linus. First Contact Day is here, but I’m not happy. I don’t feel the way I’m supposed to feel.
Gonna be interesting to see how they justify Q looking older, since Q can take any form they want. Probably they’ll have him make a crack about how Picard is more comfortable hanging around with old people.
Look, Jonathan Tucker, I appreciate your ambition, but you are not a leading man. You need to spend your career playing creepy murder weirdoes. I’m sorry, I know that sounds unfair, but those are the rules.
Character actor Margo Martindale has got some (what we call in Australia) tuck shop lady arms going and hasn’t caused a stir.
As a UFC fighter, she provided some pretty good fight scenes. And that’s literally all she was good for.
Well, since they were ‘upgraded’ to not be physically attached to the ship (mentioned in the episode after they first entered Federation HQ), I’m not sure how she managed to ‘climb’ into them to plant the bomb in the first place.
I for one enjoyed the five kilometer shuttle trip through cyberpunk city circa 1995 to get to the data core. Also, apparently the nacelles magically repaired themselves.
I feel like it will eventually be revealed that Burham falls though a crack in the ST universe, and in the next one over in the Dr. Who universe, will be revealed as the Timeless Child, progenetor of the Time Lords, and herself, Doctor Who.
I don’t think Philip was threatening Diana. He was speaking from experience about how ugly it is for everyone when royal family feuds become public.
Jonathan Pryce as Philip? I love me some Jonathan Pryce but I think the show missed their shot casting Charles Dance as Mountbatten. Dance looks freakishly like Phil and would have been perfect for season 5-6.
Don McKellar as a vulcan
For example, this would have been an EXCELLENT episode for Hugh to go down to Trill, and be the one to help Adira to work through her trauma.
