Asking for a RWD Mini is like asking for a hydroplane with a sail.

Well in that case....

4th Gear:

Thank you for writing this! The total emissions of the two are actually closer than I expected, but I’m glad someone has finally done a full, detailed report. For a long time, every attempt at comparing the two I could find would completely ignore the production of the gasoline, then proclaim them to be on near-equal

Given that it’s Trump, anything less tacky than a gold color scheme with a mural of Jesus Christ shooting Nancy Pelosi with an AR-15 is probably a win.

Max, that's FANTASTIC work. Well done.

2019 Alltrack last fall. had to jump in while i could. (It feels like a crime that the Mini isn’t offered with a manual.)

literally no one has ever said manuals are easier in traffic.

You guys! I did my small part to save the manuals and bought a 2019 GTI with one last week! I feel so proud. And it’s so much fun! The sad thing is is that it’ll probably be the last one I ever own, unless I’m able to have a third fun car one day. Gonna enjoy it for many years though!

I did my part last year!

This. Consumers brought the manual back to the GT3, and are keeping it in the M3/Mustang/GTI/WRX. But all it takes is one generation to lose it all.

This is such sad news to me. I don’t know why I care, and I realize that there is no logical reason to drive a manual but I prefer it to the point that I have never bought an automatic.

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

I mean seriously, what can’t this thing do?

Likely story. Jason - and all of Jalopnik - has been in the pocket of Big Otter Jizz for years now.

This is same bullshit Boomer mentality that got us into this mess...

That’s the problem, you can get a bigger, more capable truck for the same money. There were plenty of Gladiators at the local Jeep dealership for well into the $50k range. That’s 3/4 ton truck money. I love the idea of a Wrangler pickup priced to compete with midsize offerings, not so much priced against 1/2 to 3/4

As someone who’s family has been involved in the Trucking industry since the 1980's, I take great offense to this slander.

I liked your comment and shared it with a friend. He pointed out that zero is an integer. From mathisfun.com:

I’m mad about it and it didn’t even happen to me..... This is pretty horse shit... Essentially Tesla messed up and sent out a car with features it shouldn’t have had, then remotely disabled them.... nah that’s crap. They messed up, they need to eat the cost.
