What if people just ignored him? Let him wow the college republicans on campus with his rhetoric and then go home. He thrives on drama and outrage, otherwise his whole act suffers. He makes the news and racks up viral videos when he says awful things to and about liberals and protestors who come to his events so how

Indeed. Us liberals shouldn’t be giving him such gifts. Protecting speech used to be a liberal value, and we should take it up again before this whole thing bites us in the ass. Because it will.

But never “compadre.”

My favorite thing about this election is that the same people who always bitched that Obama was soft on Putin are now enthusiastically supporting a guy who is openly sucking his dick. Excuse my language.

The husband and I watched this the other night. So many little bits (all of them, let’s face it) were unexpectedly emotional given their recent deaths. I thought the doc was great though. It felt very REAL, the opposite of how a lot of cameras into famous people’s lives ends up being. (Looking at you, Kardashians). It

The part where Carrie is preparing for Debbie to get the SAG Lifetime Achievement award was heartbreaking. At that point Debbie was pretty frail but wanted to attend and Carrie is acting as her advocate to make sure she can lie down.

I live in Atlanta. Y’all can come and hang out at my house if you want.

I would be saying “el oh el” if I weren’t so furious at what his actions meant for the country. Scumbag.

The death penalty is immoral, not because of who we apply it to but because we are the ones who must apply it.

Nayyar is, hands down, the most attractive of the men*. I just can’t suspend my disbelief enough with all the “Raj can’t get a girl!” Especially when he comes from a super wealthy family. Like, worst case scenario, he would be fighting off gold-diggers.

He’s a gentlemanly racist.

Meanwhile, he is fucking hot and (based on the last time I saw the show) not an asshole.

I am so glad! When I watched the Black-ish episode ‘Hope,’ as tears streamed down my face, I knew that the show and its actors were deserving of all the awards.

Reminder of context: Donald Glover was raised in the Jehovah’s Witnesses. (I was as well.) Not only is magic in its most literal sense banned, you’re not really allowed to dream big or have fantasies about your future. There’s no wonderment. There’s no delight. Becoming a performer, artist, athlete, or anything else

i want to watch, but between the phrase “lena dunham interruptions” and the people selected for the video image, i just CANT

You are not part of Hollywood. La La Land is a love letter to Hollywood. If there is one thing Hollywood loves, it’s love letters to them. They can’t get enough of them. It’s the perfect award bait.

It’s really amazing to watch him grow as an artist. I first saw him in Community & was absolutely devastated when he left. I’m so glad he won.

So so happy for Atlanta and all those involved. Fantastic show. FX really produces some fine art.

Finally, recognition for Atlanta.

So glad he and the rest of Atlanta getting the credit they deserve. Even the commercials for La La Land are boring. I don’t get it.
