The problem is that the amount of time a man spends researching pop culture on the internet is directly proportional to how much he likes girls with glasses. It is inversely proportional to how attractive and/or socially functional he is. There is a loose correlation between visiting the A.V. Club and being as shy as

Holy shit I did not notice that. I really do love this show for details like that.

I'm so aroused.

Nerd vs Geek vs Dork
Some clarification please. A dork is obviously a socially-inept individual with no particular areas of expertise. My problem is the difference between Nerd and Geek. I was under the impression that one has expertise in a field that matters (physics, chemistry, etc) and the other has an expertise

Hmm, I agree about Vonnegut's writing style, but not your hypothesis about his themes. I adore the man's writing, but mostly because I discovered it young and it went on to shape my views to the world. If I discovered it later I might have found it unbearable. Bluebeard is actually one of my favorites. An absolutely beautiful meditation of the power of art and the melancholy of regret. Incredibly underrated.

Also, Lambfires, the 9:30 club is the most popular place to catch a good show, but the Black Cat is also a favorite. And then Busboys and Poets always has a guest speaker or poetry night. Basically, if you want to kill a night, hang out around U Street, something will be happening.

I don't quite understand the group's aversion to commercialized toys. This stuff has been around since the 50's, probably when they were kids, and they were able to grow up to be plenty self-righteous. They should have more faith in kids - they'll play with what they like.

Both make God cry.

This is such an epic fail that to describe it in words would be impossible. It's the type of failure that is so visceral that, much like a beautiful sonata, must be felt rather than described.

This is probably always asked…
But is this available anywhere online? Last time I checked CBS still wasn't putting it on their site.

They tend to emphasize the "aIL," so it sounds like "fail."

Which were the weirdos, the carnies or the college kids?

*Starts slow clap*

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead
Are you guys going to screen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead by any chance? Any movie with that great of a name can't be bad.
