Actually the game continued under another name, as well as the Lauren Faust game still being in the works. There is an actual website full of all the free fan made games, both flash and non-flash, targeted at general fandom, not trying to sell dolls to girls. And since when do we only cover what "mainstream gaming"…

attack the real issue here, not the fact that they have opinions, not the fact that they can communicate those opinions to the world. the problem is that uninformed opinions coming from popular people have more weight with other uninformed people based on popularity of the source and not the actual context or facts…
