I laughed so hard at the E-Series Cutaway RS.

This plane looks incredible, it's like someone drew up a supermodel of a plane that doesn't exist in real life but there it is just being awesome! I really want to go up in this beauty.

It's the Porsche bargain of the century. A Carrera S has 15 hp more, gets to 60 .1 sec faster, probably handles worse, and starts at 98k.

Why is there always a comment that [insert random car] needs more horsepower? It's a cayman which is exactly as fast as a 997 GT3, but is priced in Carrera territory. Its more than perfectly capable. It doesn't need more horsepower...

Likely placing a deposit tomorrow, despite having my Cayman GTS for only 3 1/2 months. I figure if I'm going to eat depreciation, I'll eat less of it the sooner I act.

+10000000 nostalgia points to Stef...

Pfft... no gated shifter. Pass.

YES!!! Yes please!

But this car should have north of 400 horsepower. Porsche is still holding back.

Where's the dash cam video

Oh my god am I tired of the jaded snark of some Jalopnik posts. Why does everything have to be either masturbatory hyperbole or decidedly nonplussed bitterness?

This was to be part of the Cold War early warning defence system. It was discontinued because after $2oo million in development costs, it was determined as being impractical.

This car never made it to race at LeMans, but it was a valiant effort by the boys at Chrysler. The idea was way ahead of its time, but I believe this was the precursor to the modern KERS setup now used in F1.

The WM Peugot P88. They knew they couldn't compete overall, so they just went for balls-out speed on the Mulsanne Straight at LeMans. Official figure was 405 km/hr (252 MPH) in the official speed trap, powered by a souped up PRV engine.

The STP Turbine cars that ran the Indianapolis 500 in 1967-68. Almost won both years only to have small parts fail. They were legislated into obscurity before being banned outright a year or two later.
