no, the knicks are actually a much better run franchise than they have been in some time. they have two very well respected guys running the front office, only a novice (like yourself) clearly would not know that.

paul george couldnt shoot when he came into the NBA. neither could this guy called kawhi leonard. not saying RJ ends up being like those two, but that is not a good enough reason to think he will not live up to his potential.

you can figure out a way to match salaries, but to have the #1 and #3 picks (two potential future all-star caliber players) could be sufficient. if RJ barrett goes 3rd he is not a scrub. he was consensus #1 pick last year, lets not forget.

#3 pick, DSJ, French Prince, Knox and future picks is not a bad trade package for him. I think Knox is gonna be really good but AD is worth it.
