@HDShadow: It is 360 compatible. There's some slowdown, but the game works for the most part.

@Zeidust: It works — but there is some serious slowdown in some levels :(

Such a great game — and if they could kick the framerate up to 60, it would be perfect.

@blash: So you're suggesting that an obese person should convert all their fat to muscle, and come out weighing more?

The entire Guitar Hero/Rock Band thing has run its course.

It failed because the pitch was "hey guys, let's make a game based on this movie," rather than "hey guys, I have a great game idea, and I think it will work well with the Avatar license."

Sweet — will I be able to read the instruction manual when their servers go down?

@ShadowOdin is gonna be King of Kotaku: The computer graphics drew attention at first, but it wouldn't have been as successful without the great stories. Pixar makes amazing films, regardless of the tech they use to bring it to the screen.

This is like that conversation in Jurassic Park...

@Blore07: The lines between generations were always a little bit arbitrary when it came to the GameBoy. I've seen some sales figures that lump the Advance in with the original and Color.

@DrZaius: You're emphasizing his point... that works fine in a video game, but doesn't translate well into a movie.

@Kuwabara Kazuo: I think it has more to do with what sort of movement options are granted to you — does the game "play" in 3D, or is it just rendered that way. Games that are rendered in 3D but which play on a 2D plane (like Shadow Complex) have been called 2.5D for a while, but even that has gotten confusing.

@Rakkoon: This is a good point. It's assumed that games are in 3D now.

@Phaaze: That stinks — I hate when old consoles break. I still have my original GameBoy with the pea green screen... even when I don't play them anymore, I appreciate their "historical" value ;)

@Platynews: Yeah, that's probably what I'll have to do... assuming they make the downloadable software all cross-compatible.

Dammit! Always wanted a sequel to this one, but it's on DIiWare? Gah! I only have a standard DS Lite :(

@elevenoverzero: Mass Effect comes to mind — the covers look like bad sci-fi novels ;)

"We're looking into that specific topic, but we don't have anything to announce at this time."
