Denying the surgery in favor of other options is inhumane to you. Not to me. The decision was based on DoD guidelines for in service transition. I don’t think it was meant to apply to traitors and criminals. Whether her treatment is or is not humane was not part of the reasoning.

Flip side: Just because a situation is less humane, doesn’t make it inhumane. What do you think of that buddy?

A medical condition was not going to kill her. Her own actions were going to get her killed. She needs to accept the reality of her situation. Part of being in prison means you don’t get what you want. If anything throw her on a powerful antidepressant and be done with it.

I meant write your state rep to push forward fiscally responsible legislation. I’ve got no problem with cutting taxes on these products or even providing feminine products for free in certain cases. Find a way to pay for it that doesn’t leave a hole in the budget.

Was she going to die without this surgery? No. Then she doesn’t need it. She can transition on her own dime when she gets out.
