You’re pretty lucky then! About a million people get sick every year in the US from poultry that isn’t handled safely, and trust me, it’s not because of jizz residue.
Man, you are so right. I should definitely take advice from random people on the internet like you instead of legitimate scientists and food safety experts, lol. Have fun shitting your brains out!
I mean, you do you, boo. But the USDA, CDC, and food science experts agree that washing chicken only increases your chances of cross-contamination and just isn’t necessary to prevent food borne illness.
Generalizations don’t help anyone and is how we got into this mess in the first place.
One thing places like the Root are great for is establishing that oppression does not, in fact, provide a superior perspective—merely a different one.
Code violations were issued in all of those cases. I don’t get the point you’re trying to make here. All you’re proving is that Ramos is consistent in how he officiates.
You get two code violations before a point is lost, and three before a game is lost. Ramos issued code violations in each of the cases for these male players. Do you think he should have issued more that one violation for each incident? He didn’t do that to Serena. Her violations came from three separate, distinct…
All of these incidents led to code violations, which is exactly what Serena received three of (for three separate violations) in that US Open match. There is no double-standard with Ramos’s officiating. Stop spreading lies.
They aren’t hivemind...but are contemplating boycotting her matches. Hmmm.
In every single one of those cases, a code violation was issued. Nothing happens after a first code violation. A second code violation leads to a point loss, and a third code violation leads to a game loss. Ramos wouldn’t have been following the rules if he’d immediately issued point or game losses for those actions.
DING! DING! DING!
Yeah, the only color dudes like Gary Cohn care about is green. Racism is just a handy tool for ringing as much money as possible out of the suckers, be they black, white or whatever, and to keep them from looking up.
I don’t think Gary Cohn cared about whiteness; I think he cared about getting taxes cut for the 0.1%, and damn the consequences for everyone else. If that meant embracing an idiot who’s also an unapologetic white supremacist, well...ends, means, yadda yadda.
Blindly determining that decent people are “trash” is something I usually speak up against. It’s not my fault that the entire mode of the internet now seems to be “Rush to a bad conclusion as quickly as possible, and refuse to investigate its badness after the fact.”
Everyone seems to have a story about how they did something worse and got away with it, but did they do something worse in front of Ramos? If so, that’s a story. But if we’re talking about a different umpire, then it’s a complete non sequitur. Tennis umpires aren’t a hivemind, and the decisions made by one cannot be…
I am.
Bullshit. This isn't natural linguistic change - this is the enforcement

“hm, how can i fix the many, complex problems in this world? Oh, I know, I’ll see someone of the opposite sex do something and then assign that action to all men and then hate all men as a result. Seems healthy and not at all over the top insane and sexist...
