The real issue that nobody has brought up yet, is the patent being issued for this. Exactly what is the patent for? The algorithm that Microsoft will use? The abstract concept of a GPS device telling its user to avoid a certain area? If it's the latter, then I have a big problem with the patent in and of itself.

That was exactly what SKiTz asked for.

They've specifically said that those with autopay will not be affected. I've never been a fan of autopay for cell phones though for the same reason you stated. They always seem to tack on an extra fee here or there.

What happens with the money vested in unused gift cards, especially now that the CARD act keeps them from expiring? I would think that the company would have to keep some of it as a security, right? Or is it just pure profit that they're able to use immediately?

I've found AppleCare to be a Godsend in my history of usage of Apple devices. They do a great job of going above and beyond the basic care. I had one a year ago, but the app was garbage at the time, so I took it back. However, from what I hear, it works pretty well now. I'm thinking

@Priper, sbsettings will be fine with the new notification system. If you look in the Activator app, you'll see there's a difference between swipe left/right and swipe down. SBS is set for left/right, and the notification system is swipe down, so it should be fine.
