So many enthusiasts LOVE the hatch, but want the WRX, most used WRX wagons command a premium, and the Forrester XT’s, even more so. It’s a great idea, and honestly, they have all the parts. It’s a no brainer.

More than likely, it’s the switches. Those things are finicky on a good day! also, the cruise control is a separate vacuum pump, so more than likely it’s the switch AND a vacuum line (like mine is).
Sadly, I had to retire mine. It did great in my subaru, but in my old Land Rover, the vents are too “free” in movement to hold the phone at a viewable angle, and the vent fins in my wife’s HHR are too thick to fit securely. I will say though, that it held my LG G3 during a bit of off road “oops” in the subaru :)
