“I'm in the goddamn club, aren't I?"

It's funny, because Jellico isn't a bad captain, he just has a different style than Picard. He's not an insane admiral or anything, he's just got the same line Picard had between himself and the crew in the first season of TNG.

Picard granted her a battlefield commission in the last episode of Picard Season 2; plus there was a mention that Janeway tried to get her instated in Starfleet earlier and Seven’s ex-Borg status fucked her over. It's dumb, but that's how this Trek works.

I LOVE the design of the Sovereign-class and we didn't get to see it nearly enough.

Is it me or is the caption on that Madame Web video creepy? Reads very stalkerish.

The art on that show is unbelievably bad

The really fucked up part is Brubaker got paid more for HIS cameo as one of Hydra's scientists than he did for creating the Winter Soldier.

Considering that service industry workers were never lucky enough to work remotely and spent untold hours being abused and screamed at for enforcing mask mandates which lead to them getting COVID and, y’know, dying. I have friends who were lifers, running bars, designing menus, who bailed after a few weeks

What are the odds Netflix released this as a way to honor a contract without having to pay for the production of another controversial special? Maybe they’re sick of the outcry and they want to get out of the contract ASAP?

Exactly! It’s entirely too niche.

Goddamn right

I can’t see this working at any place with a specialized menu. If someone comes in for a shift and doesn’t know the menu, how are they supposed to answer questions about it? Or learn the table numbers? How’s a bartender going to jump behind a bar at a craft cocktail spot without studying the recipes? Bussers, food

There were also rumors a month or two back that Luke Cage is returning because a photo of Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter was posted on one of their Instagrams and tagged #Defenders. Make of that what you will.

That's exactly what I mean.

Seven, but yeah. And Will Payton is great! They had a lot of choices and they went with Skyman instead.

I think the reason Ms. Marvel has lower viewership numbers is partially because of the show's YA tone. I'm watching and enjoying it, but I'm forty years old and not really invested in the character. I'm sure a lot of younger MCU fans are watching it, but they're using a friend's D+ account or straight up pirating it.

That’s definitely the reason. If the bulk of the other DC shows hadn’t been canceled, this series would be a part of it.

James Robinson and Tony Harris' Starman is easily one of my favorite series of all time and seeing a different character dressed as Jack Knight, holding the cosmic staff playing second banana kind of hurts.

I don’t know if it’s national, but the Costco by me sells liquor, wine and beer and Sam’s doesn’t.

Raimi said he was cast as a nod to all the fancasting and isn’t intended to represent the MCU Reed.
