I can’t see this working at any place with a specialized menu. If someone comes in for a shift and doesn’t know the menu, how are they supposed to answer questions about it? Or learn the table numbers? How’s a bartender going to jump behind a bar at a craft cocktail spot without studying the recipes? Bussers, food…

Someone gave my parents a bottle of scotch when they got engaged or maybe married and they never touched it as they’re not big liquor drinkers. Until one Christmas about ten years ago. Three and a half decades did not help that bottle of J&B.

Jackfruit is incredibly cheap and is widely available in shelf-stable cans and makes a fantastic replacement for most barbecue-style meats. It’s not great protein-wise compared to most other vegan meats, but if you’re that concerned about your protein intake, I don’t think you’re wolfing down barbecue on the regular.

The first house my ex and I made an offer on, it stormed the day of the inspection. It cost me almost $1000, but I’d rather spend that than buy the house and deal with the sloppy rehab down the road.
