Which is a huge step backward for a character that lead a team of Avengers and then left the Avengers to help a team of former villains redeem themselves. Fraction and Aja’s series was gorgeous but such a creative misstep for a character that had shown so much growth.

Jurassic Park. Independence Day. Shrek.

It’s the same bullshit Spielberg did throughout t he 90s; loads of weird absent father/found family crap that makes me wonder what happened with his dad around 1991 or so.

Fucking Space Jam. It’s shit.

Eight or nine years ago, I was driving to St. Louis for my cousin’s wedding and I got pulled over for driving in the left lane too long. The highway patrolman then wrote a ticket for something else (my plate being partially obscured by a clear plastic cover) instead because “it’s a non-moving violation, so it’ll be

Vin Diesel is absolutely fantastic in the Iron Giant, too.

The guy who leaked those images says he believes they’re fake. The picture of the three Spider-Men has some questionable Photoshopping.

My father spent the first 34 years of my life abusing me and I said “fuck it” and cut him out of my life. Except that is apparently not an acceptably thing to do? Now I’m supposed to invite him to Thanksgiving and buy him Christmas gifts?

Disney just fired Emilio Estevez for not getting vaccinated; why not her?

Superman and Lois is really good. The cast is phenomenal and the story is tight with very little padding. I jumped ship on all the other shows after Crisis.

Then there’s a flashback and you find out she’s the great-great-great-granddaughter of Al Swearengen.

And now I’m crying.

I don’t want him to pop up on Picard-- because Jesus Christ that would be an O’Brien Must Suffer arc and Colm Meaney deserves more-- but that Worf series Michael Dorn keeps pitching? I’d be okay if O’Brien popped up.

There’s a really cute bit that’s set up when O’Brien tells Worf that Keiko is having a baby and Worf panics for a second and then says “I’ll be on Earth.” And then First Contact is released and the episode set during that movie is the one where Keiko gives birth and Michael Dorn is absent.

Rene Auberjonois was a goddamn gift to the world.

It’s not that; it’s that they way those shows were broadcast meant that when they remastered TNG, they had to find the original film, remaster it and then re-edit it. That made the remastering process insanely expensive and the Blu-Ray sales would never have made up the sales.

It’s probably not really feasible, but I wish Hulu/Netflix/Paramount Plus would splice in the DS9 crew in The Trouble With Troubles. At least the bar fight.

Age of Ultron has its problems, but the fact that I didn’t have to wait an hour and a half until the Avengers were formed, I rank it higher than most. It has its flaws, but the party scene and the ending battle are damn great.

Valentino probably won't but Kirkman will.
