Are you familiar with her genesis? Geoff Johns created her in what was— I think— his first professional comics work. She’s based on and named after his sister who died on TWA 800. She’s been a central part of his JSA run and later writers kept using her, possibly because by then, Johns was very high up at DC.

Did this JSA get trapped in an alternate dimension where time didn’t pass like the comics?

I don’t think anyone should be taking their cue from the Ku Klux Klan.

I think Snyder said when they were prepping Man of Steel, he and Nolan discussed incorporating Bale's Batman, but Bale wasn't interested so they dropped it.

What if... The animation and voice acting were actually good?

Makes sense for Sony and Disney to cut a deal where Spider-Man can still appear in the MCU but Sony can use him in their weird villain/antihero-centered side universe. Or that Venom, Morbius, whoever can appear in MCU flicks and Sony gets a chunk of coin.

Speaking of OJ and USC, her daughter took this photo:

I’d do more time if I didn’t pay a speeding ticket.

TERFs would like to remind you that men do not have a monopoly on sexism.

Marvel used to print the work-for-hire contract on the back of creators’ paychecks— If they wanted to get paid for the time and effort they put into creating those stories, they had to sign the check and, by extension, the WFH contract. If that’s not immoral and unfair, I don’t know what is.

That second cover is Bryan Hitch, not Wilfredo Torres, by the way.

Now playing

I worked in a restaurant that had separate bins for recycling, compost and trash. It took a little more time, but we had to take out maybe two trash bags at the end of a Saturday brunch and dinner service.

I’d watch the hell out of that.

The only times it addressed trans issues were one or two occasions where women didn’t present as men, but would take a traditionally masculine role.

“That’s unlikely.”

That’s a problem the show’s created, because the comic explains that Yorick shaves and pitches his voice higher while wearing the gas mask.

Isn’t that why they’ve lost so many cast members; budget cuts?

Barry’s put in Keaton’s Batman suit so he can’t move, trapping him.

The Crisis didn’t destroy the multiverse like the heroes thought and was restructured and Jay Garrick has now always existed on whatever Earth Stargirl is set? But he still remembers Barry and gang? I’m just guessing, but that’s the simplest solution.
