They let Jared Leto and Geoff Johns get away with shit like this; they can't act shocked when the new guy assumes it's acceptable behavior.

I had a douchebag order a Long Island Iced Tea with all top shelf booze. I ended up charging him something like $56 for it. Another guy ordered a $150 pour of whiskey and asked it to be mixed with Coke. People that order stuff like this think they look fancy and monied when they are, in fact, douchebags.

He stole El Diablo? Someone should tell Phil Hester and Ande Parks.

Exactly what I was thinking.

My mom’s siblings call her “Cricket.”

But he grew up in Kansas, so he should have a midwestern accent, not a southern. Supernatural does the same thing. Dean’s accent is more southern than midwest. It’s probably a shortcut kind of thing; they’re in a rural area and I’m guessing most viewers don’t recognize an accent from that area, so they went southern.

I watched it online, so it may not have been mentioned in the broadcast version, but the lake is on private property, so they were popped for trespassing.

I live in a state with a less than 40% vaccination rate and widespread cases of the Delta variant; even though I’ve been vaccinated for months, I’m still wearing a mask most places, including work despite the looks and judgey statements from customers. People can’t be trusted.

Justice Pride. Problem solved.

Weird to claim that vegan meats are less green than animal meats when it takes far less water to produce a Beyond burger than to raise a cow to be slaughtered. And also a lot less carbon.

All he wanted was a Pepsi.

I am the only FOH person who came back after my city’s shutdown last year. I was also the only one who only had one job because I was full-time and all the other employees we pulling a shift here, two shifts at another spot, etc. I also had people trying to make reservations for forty or fifty people the week after we

Right? Why don’t people eat pussy?

Did Geoff Johns veto it? Because, um, remember when he wrote the Avengers?

Don’t you dare blame Dancing Guy for that.

A lot of restaurants are moving away from that model, too. Half of the places I’ve worked the last five years put most, if not all, of our tips on a paycheck. It sucks short-term (I had a new hire who withdrew his application as soon as he found out that was how we did our tips) but it makes your taxes a lot easier.

Around 2004 or so, I read a piece that if the minimum wage had kept up with inflation and cost of living, it would have been $24/hour.
