To be fair, he didn't enlist the help of any outside writers (hence the simple prose). He talked about it on Opie Radio the other day. Basically said he didn't want to have to split money with anyone else.

I just wanna say happy birthday, Ed Harris. He's 66 today. Hopefully a horse doesn't jerk your rope today, pal.

Simone was looking gorgeous in her final scene (well, in the whole series, too).

Was let down that this brilliant line wasn't noted in the review. Had to rewind it to hear it again, it was so good.

Yes, thank you. He's a great character and all, but that's like saying Prop Joe from The Wire should have gotten his own show. No. Not every compelling character warrants their own show.

Let me stop you at your first paragraph to show that your writer doesn't know what he's talking about:
" For someone like Michael Che, co-anchor of Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update (and, before that, a correspondent on The Daily Show), audiences expect that his takes on current events emerge from a place of

Also I wonder if it was lost on the crowd that Mariah's guards just happened to have machine guns to fire at Luke. I know every councilwoman in NYC rolls with a crew of guys with machine guns…

I'm just glad he's not leaning on Dicaprio yet again. I do like a lot of Leo's work with Scorsese (except for Gangs of New York and Shutter Island), but it has gotten tedious.

Read the story on the long slog Scorsese endured to get it made. Unsurprisingly, they pushed him off for years. I've been hearing about this getting made for a loooong time now.

Finally back to recognizing the songs this week! I've been getting shut out since episode 2 (not a Radiohead guy at all).

It's criminally underused as well. They don't book a lot of shows there. Frustrating, because it's such a beautiful venue. I've seen the Allman Brothers there and B.B. King/Buddy Guy.

I don't think fourth youngest SNL player is all that noteworthy, but he is easily one of the youngest comics to have risen this quickly. He started standup at like 16 or 17, was already working the NYC clubs by 19. That is rare.

Vic is there for obscure facts about music and college sports. As a comic, ehhh. Sherrod just plays up the "I'm a black dude from Brooklyn" angle a bit too much. His standup is actually pretty good. Been awhile since I've seen him.

Bartender- "Do I have to explain alliteration, nigga?"

I got some laughs out of it, but I didn't like being away from the story to this degree, especially with how strong of an episode "Value" was.

Everything Peter Travers reviews is a "tour de force".

I still read RS, like the actual print edition (I know, pathetic). This new investment does not surprise me as they have slashed the mag into what now amounts to a thin slice of deli meat from Cosmo Kramer's slicer. It is absurd how small each issue is now; they've cut back on everything. It's a shame. It still has

Esmail taking cracks at the USA Network is no different than when The Simpsons took (or are still taking, I wouldn't know anymore) frequent shots at Fox.

I honestly don't focus on the banjo much when I'm listening to her music because her voice is so damn commanding.
