I feel like I should have something to say here…

Attempts to reach her cousin for comment have been thus far unsuccessful.

I was putting together the Avengers Helicarrier toy for my kid on Christmas Eve a few years ago and totally had flashbacks to helping my dad put together the USS Flagg carrier they got me for Christmas one year. Seriously, did anybody ever actually put all of those 'no step' stickers on it?

I remember seeing that in the theater. That clip was so ridiculously awesome. It was everything I never knew I always wanted. Then the movie started. …not so much. Cobra-La? Burgess Meredith? Don Johnson?

I've let him watch parts of it. The batmobile chase and a few other parts. I don't think he's ready for the disappearing pencil trick.

Well at least he could see this one. He's still not allowed to watch The Dark Knight.

Yeah, but it's like car sales. Do you want to sell me a car or make a good deal so I come back and buy 5 cars over the next 20 years? We saw it, but as long as Snyder and Goyer are selling these cars, we won't be buying any more of them.

Took my son to see it yesterday. Warner Brothers: if you've made a movie starring BATMAN and SUPERMAN, and a 10-year old boy is bored by it, you have failed.

First shot after the cute Paramount logo fade-in: Indy at his desk looking at framed pictures of Karen Allen and Shia LeBouf. Looking up at Sallah, he says, 'Shame about Marion and the kid, huh? They never saw that truck coming.'
Sallah responds, 'Truck? What truck?'

They made FIVE of those friggin' movies?

In….what….waaaaaay……does the use of the PRISON……symbolize the protagonist's struggle? And how does this relate to our discussion of the uses of irony?

0.002 Seconds?! But I want it nooooow!!!!

Cassettes are making a comeback, right? So CDs will be the new hipster thing in a couple of years. I'm just waiting on them to rediscover laserdiscs so I can make a fortune selling my collection I never bothered to get rid of.

I was already sold on this. But the 'would that it TWERE' clip they released a few weeks back confirmed it.
Here's hoping it's more O Brother Where Art Thou and less Intolerable Cruelty.

Mandy. Season One of West Wing.

I thought Poe and Finn's shirtless volleyball game on Jakku was gratuitous. And it made no sense to the plot. I mean, where do you even get baby oil on a back water planet like that?

'Abrams allowed a terminally ill Star Trek fan to see an early cut of Star Trek Into Darkness in 2013' Imagine the look on his face during the movie when he realized he had used a dying wish to see it.

The Regal theater near me is already selling tickets at the self-serve kiosk in the lobby. Got mine about half an hour ago!

Joe Cool's Blues. The cover is Wynton Marsalis playing his trumpet, and his father Ellis playing the piano, with a cartoon Snoopy dancing on top of it. It's new versions of Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts music with Wynton's band. And I was not disappointed. 15 years later, it's still in heavy rotation on my playlist.

It's not a great movie by any means, but the visuals alone make it worth checking out on as big a screen as you can get to.
