MAnaged to get my data imported via a convoluted route. Used an excel macro to save the .csv as qif file. I then found that the program is nowhere near as powerul as I would have hoped. There seems to be no bulk category edit option. I would have to edit each individual transaction manually. I'm not about to do that!

I'm disappointed. I thought this was just what I was looking for. I tried importing the .csv files my bank provides (natwest UK) but it would only import the deposits. Not sure why. Giving Gnucash a go now.

I noticed these had hit Cydia last night. I was more taken by the VoIPover3G app that allows you to use apps that are wifi only to use 3G. So you should now be able to use fring over the 3G network! How good!
