Also, Stephen King has a Congressional Medal of Honor.

Shut up, mouth breather. It’s hard to make Martin fanboys look worse than usual, but you’re managing to do it.
I’d say J.K Rowling is far, far, far above Martin in terms of being the most celebrated fantasy author living.
He also writes on Wordstar. DOS. No shit.
You’re not.
All the parts you just jerked off about.
By the time it is published, you won't have to worry about it. Brick and mortar retailers are on life support now. By the time the book is published (never) you won't have a store.
You’d know, Nancy.
75% is low. The last two books were excrement.
It’s uneven and only saved by the Weddings. It also introduces Zombie Cat. Only “Cult of George” members, like you, think that was a good idea.
What's dishonest about it? He has failed miserably to end this alleged trilogy. Saying he hasn't is delusional.
That’s not even worth arguing about.
Yes, I’m just talking about your average fan. The “Cult of George” fanboys are a joke.
No, people care about Theon, mainly because he was with the Starks at the beginning. If you polled the TV viewers whether they knew what house he was from, I bet 80% wouldn’t have a clue and 100% wouldn’t care. And Lady Stoneheart is a “fan favorite”, eh? Bull. Shit. Dumbest plot digression in a series chock full of…
These books aren’t likely to be finished, let alone be remembered in 100 years. In 5 years there will be Another Big Phenomenon and no one will remember why they cared about this. Happens all the time.
Patrick O’Brian and the Aubrey/Maturin novels for one. Dickens, Dumas, and many, many others whose work was published in serial form, often under insane deadlines.
I agree with you 110%. As soon as the next book comes out, someone will write a story comparing it to Season 6. It will say how, if at all, the two were different and that’s good enough for me. I did not like the last two books at all and I’m happy to let HBO finish it.
He’s been consistently letting people down for about 15 years now and he seems to be pretty happy.
Your grasp of the obvious is amazing. Try and move on to things that are a little more difficult, Spanky. Then, when you’ve managed that, come back and try and have an intelligent conversation.
That’s not true. No one gives a damn about Zombie Cat and the story is better without her. No one cares about any of the Ironborn or their magic horns and the story is better without them. Everything that has been excised from the series was excised for a good reason: It wasn’t necessary to tell the story.
